For those of you who missed the Great Debate aired this morning on WYSL radio 1040, it is now available online. The debate was actually recorded on Thursday afternoon when all four candidates crowded into the WYSL studios for over an hour and a half.
Due to time limitations, the full debate was not aired on the radio. Fortunately, by special arrangement with WYSL, I was able to get the audio files of the entire debate to post here. The additional material is further questions by Livingston County News Editor Mark Gillespie that didn’t make the cut.
Mark took advantage of the opportunity of having all four candidates together to ask some extra questions for his article on the race that will be appearing in next week’s edition. At least now, we’ll all have the proof if we are misquoted!
Comments on the debate are welcome, either posted on this blog or sent privately to me at corrin@clarionmail.com
Note: Due to competing signals, I had a hard time tuning in WYSL until after they boosted their power at 7:30 a.m. The same problem will probably exist when the show is re-broadcast at 7 a.m. tomorrow. Perhaps it will be better at 9 p.m. Sunday for the final broadcast.
